In honour of Her Majesty’s 70 years of service, The Lanesborough’s acclaimed Bar Manager, Mickael Perron has created The Lilibet – a brand-new cocktail named after the Queen herself, and of course the hotel’s beloved furry feline resident. The cocktail features Earl Grey infused gin with bergamot and white cacao liqueur. finished with a topping of English Chardonnay wine foam and dainty edible flowers. The unique beverage will be served throughout the four-day weekend in The Library Bar – an intimate setting featuring dimmed lighting and grand surroundings, that exudes old world charm.

To further satisfy the senses, the hotel’s new flagship restaurant, The Lanesborough Grill, will take guests on a culinary journey with an exclusive Jubilee Sunday Lunch. With acclaimed British Chef, Shay Cooper at its helm, the restaurant is located in the ornately decorated dining room, naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof and includes contemporary artwork, in partnership with Art Acumen. In celebration of the historic occasion, the sophisticated menu includes modern British classics such as Coronation Crab Salad, Hereford Beef Tartare, Dover Sole and Elderflower & Strawberry Trifle.

Foodies can also delight in the hotel’s Bridgerton-inspired afternoon tea, created in partnership with Netflix and Shondaland. The Bridgerton Afternoon Tea pays homage to the Regency era; a time of great revelling and high style, of elegant parties, balls, and grand dinners, with a contemporary twist. The menu, carefully curated by Head Pastry Chef, Kevin Miller, pays tribute to the key families in Bridgerton and features innovative cakes and sweet treats such as the ink pot and quill inspired pistachio desert, ‘The Lady Whistledown’ and an exquisite hand-crafted chocolate blended with honey, green cardamon and white chocolate ganache, ‘The Queen’s Diamond’. To accompany afternoon tea solely over the Jubilee weekend, in honour of the landmark achievement, The Lanesborough will serve a limited-edition Moët & Chandon Impérial and Rosé Impérial. Since 1893, Moët & Chandon has been synonymous with British Royalty, upon being granted a ‘Royal Warrant’ by HM Queen Victoria, which has been continuously renewed ever since. For decades, the House has continued to celebrate the Queen’s most iconic accomplishments, and for 2022, will engage the UK nation once again with the unveiling of the Platinum Jubilee bottles. Only 4,000 bottles of the Platinum Jubilee Champagne have been produced exclusively for the celebrations.
