Taking destination dining to a whole new dimension, Baros Maldives has launched a pop-up fine- dining restaurant, on a secluded sandbank in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
The 40-cover restaurant invites Baros guests to enjoy an atmospheric, lantern lit dinner under the stars, whilst entirely surrounded by the gentle lap of the sea. The evening begins with a short boat ride to the sandbank where guests are greeted with a glass of champagne to enjoy whilst watching the magnificent sunset from this idyllic setting. With seven chefs on hand, guests can choose from an a la carte menu offering an array of Maldivian and international dishes as well a delicious selection of fresh sushi from the sandbanks very own sushi station. Throughout dinner the ‘Sandbank Sommelier’ is on hand to serve guests premium wines from the resort’s renowned Lighthouse Restaurant. As the evening draws to a close, the Baros boat will return guest back to the privacy of their luxury Beach or Water Villas.
Baros Maldives is situated in the central southern part of North Malé Atoll, just 25 minutes by speedboat from the international airport. 75 premium private villas, three restaurants, two bars and an outstanding spa feature on this small coral island, which is surrounded by a beautiful house reef, only 15 to 30 metres from shore.
