To prepare ahead of guests’ arrival with an online questionnaire with a dedicated Sleep Ambassador, Six Senses works to understand their relationship with sleep. Based on this information, each Sleep Ambassador provides their guests with tools and tips on how to improve sleep quality. Sleep Ambassadors fine-tune rooms and suites prior to arrival ensuring all preferences are catered to, and prepares them again each evening to ensure optimum sleep conditions. They are also on call each day to provide assistance and support. Fundamental to the guest room set-up are items that have been carefully selected and tested over a two-year period by a team of Six Senses experts. Handmade mattresses made from 100% natural materials are complemented by organic pillows, and duvets which feature cooling zones to ensure the perfect temperature during sleep. Building upon these quality basics, those who wish to learn more about improving their quality of sleep can upgrade the experience to include a Sleep Bag, including a selection of specially developed sleep aids including bamboo fiber pyjamas, eye and nasal neti pot and jasmine sleep spritzer, Valley Forge moisture-wicking linens and a Withings Aura Sleep tracker and app. The results from the app will be reviewed with a Six Senses Integrated Wellness Practitioner during a 30-minute personal consultation. Based on the results, the Wellness Practitioner will recommend a personalised programme of spa treatments and activities to help improve sleep. In advance of departure each guest is provided with sleep tips and details on how to purchase any of the products used during their stay to prolong their quest for a good night’s rest when home.
