Palma is known for its boho-chic boutiques, jewellery shops and luxury shopping. Fashion lovers can now take their shopping experience to the next level by opting for the ‘Create You Own Espadrille’ masterclass with a local shoe expert. During the three hour session, guests will be expertly guided through the design process of Mallorca’s most famous fashion export – the espadrille. From selecting a pattern to making the esparto rope sole, guests will leave the workshop with their very own handmade shoes, taking a little piece of Palma home with them.

With 10 Michelin starred restaurants on the island, Mallorca is a foodies paradise. During their stay at Sant Francesc, guests can now get their hands dirty and delve into the local gastronomy with a paella masterclass with the hotel’s expert Head Chef ‘Fonsi’ as well as enjoy a visit to Palma’s Gin Distillery in the trendy Santa Catalina district. This includes a gin tasting session, a tour of the distillery and of course, four refreshing gin cocktails. The master distiller will explain the tricks of the trade, the process of gin making and give insider tips on how to distill your own at home.

Sant Francesc is an art lovers paradise and home to an exceptional collection of contemporary art. Original works are dotted throughout the property, each carefully selected for the space and many specially commissioned for the hotel. Artists on display include Guillem Nadal, Riera Aragó, Dominica Sánchez, Jordi Alcaráz, Bruno Olle, Miguel Macaya, M.A. Campano, J.M. Broto, A. Alzamora and E. Arbós. During their stay, guests can have an exclusive tour of one of Palma’s finest modern art galleries – Galeria Pelaires which celebrates both local and international artists. Many greats have graced the walls including Picasso, Joan Miró, Henry Moore and Anthony Caro. During the private tour guests will learn about the fascinating history of the gallery that opened in 1970 and will have exclusive access to the current exhibitions.

The Winter Weekend Package is valid from 22nd October – 17th December 2018 and includes a two night stay at Sant Francesc. Set within a former Mallorcan mansion, the hotel was originally built in 1860, and lovingly restored in 2015.
