LE BRISTOL HAILS PARIS FASHION WEEK WITH AN EXPERTLY CRAFTED, LIMITED EDITION LANVIN DELICACY

Created exclusively for Lanvin, Le Bristol Paris will celebrate Paris Fashion Week and unveil an haute couture dessert expertly crafted by Pastry Chef, Laurent Jeannin.

Aptly named L’Audacieux after the audacious founder of the fashion house, Jeanne Lanvin, the limited edition dessert will appear every afternoon on the pastry trolley at Café Antonia during Fashion Week from 28th February 28th – 8th March.  This delectable signature pastry, embellished with Lanvin’s label, is inspired by the avant-garde designer and, much like her fashion, is audacious, surprising and seductive.  Under a smooth velvety purple dress of blackberry glaze is an airy fromage blanc mousse, as light as sheer organdy, enlivened with blueberry jam.  A ladyfinger is delicately softened in vanilla Kirsch, and all is decorated with trimmings of gold sugar and placed on a Breton shortbread.  L’Audacieux designer Jeanne Lanvin established her fashion empire on Paris’ rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the very same road as Le Bristol.  Le Bristol remains a firm favourite of the fashion-pack since its opening in the heady Roaring Twenties, and is the place to stay during Paris Fashion Week.  With a glittering past guest-list that includes Hollywood and fashion icons such as Rita Hayworth, Jojo Baker, Charlie Chaplin, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Carla Bruni, Dita Von Teese and Woody Allen, glamour is enmeshed in Le Bristol’s DNA.
