The Three Daggers is a classic English pub set in the small village of Edington, in the heart of Wiltshire. The original site, which dates back over 300 years, started out as a humble wall barn and is now home to a buzzy family and dog friendly village pub serving delicious food and a fantastic selection of home-brewed craft ales, a thriving farm shop, a micro-brewery and spa barn. This quintessentially British inn has nine en-suite double bedrooms each individually designed with a blend of heritage furnishings and luxurious details. There are three bedrooms located above the Three Daggers pub which have shared use of a private living room and kitchen so guests can sit in front of a roaring fire, watch a movie and enjoy a glass of wine. Tea, coffee, snacks and the pub’s Hunter wellies are all complimentary so guests feel immediately at home and are able to explore the local countryside and visit nearby Stonehenge. A further six rooms can be found in the Hillside Cottage and Spa, a stand-alone house nestled in the hillside 50 yards across the road from the main building (available for exclusive use). The Spa Barn is the perfect space to switch off and offers guests three treatment rooms along with a sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub for indulging in some serious me time. Next door to the pub the Edington Farm Shop has a range of fresh, local produce sourced from the pub’s very own Priory Farm (just over half a mile from the Three Daggers itself). Visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the microbrewery team in action at the adjacent Three Daggers Microbrewery, which provides a fantastic selection of beer and ales to the Three Daggers pub and over 50 pubs throughout the South West and London area.

Hillside Cottage & Spa is a picturesque, self-contained cottage adjacent to the Three Daggers pub offering six en-suite guest bedrooms and spa facilities, for a weekend away with the family or group of friends.  The self-catering cottage, newly built in 2017 to an extremely high standard with a red brick and soft wood exterior, seamlessly blends traditional English country style with contemporary fittings. Set in an elevated position just a stone’s throw from the Three Daggers, guests at Hillside Cottage enjoy spectacular rural views from the house, garden and spa area. The individually decorated bedrooms are fitted with the latest technology that controls everything at the touch of a button. Guests have exclusive access to Hillside’s private steam and sauna house complete with outdoor plunge pool and hot tub where they can indulge in some quality pampering. After a long walk exploring the local Wiltshire countryside, guests can curl up by the wood-burning stove at ‘Trailhead Lodge’, a lux games room complete with bar, dartboard, games, and comfy sofas, for the ultimate chill out space.  Guests can dine at the pub or stock up from the daily changing deli-counter at the Edington Farm Shop. Hillside Cottage is the perfect retreat for a group get-together or celebratory weekend and a private chef and staff can be arranged on request.

HOW: Room rates at The Three Daggers start from £85 per night on a bed and breakfast basis.  Rooms at the  Hillside Cottage & Spa is an exclusive use house to include: 6 ensuite bedrooms, steam room, sauna, hot tub, dip pool and Trailhead Lodge.
