The final stop of the tour is Mallorca, where alongside Michelin starred food, guests will experience rustic farm-to-table style cooking in the island’s rural countryside.

Helicopter tour of Portugal’s wine country
For a thrilling and breath-taking view of Northern Portugal’s oldest demarcated wine region, guests can now explore the Douro Valley by private helicopter. Guests will be transported from Six Senses Douro Valley, one of the region’s finest hotels, to Quinta de Ervamoira, an outstanding estate owned by the Ramos Pinto Port house. Guests will enjoy an exclusive guided tour of the magnificent property before sampling the locally produced wines and enjoying a traditional Portuguese lunch. Back at the hotel, guests can spend the afternoon in the Wine Library, where private wine tasting sessions are conducted by the Six Senses’ sommelier, or cruise along the river to one of the historic local vineyards, known as Quintas. In the Autumn months wine lovers can participate in the harvest activities, including the centuries-old tradition of stomping the grapes.

Art & gastronomy: a journey through Catalonia
This twin-centre itinerary of Barcelona and Girona allows guests to explore the two sides of Catalonia, from the superb world-renowned restaurants to the iconic artwork. The journey begins in Barcelona, one of Spain’s most exciting and diverse cities, a private guided tour follows in the footsteps of Antonio Gaudi and takes in the work of Miro, Picasso and Lichtenstein. Alongside art and culture, Barcelona is home to more Michelin starred restaurants than any other city in Europe – from local tapas to gourmet feasts, foodies will not be disappointed. After exploring Barcelona, guests can unwind at Mas de Torrent, an 18th century converted farmhouse in the Catalonian countryside. From here, the ancient town of Girona with its striking gothic architecture can be explored. The town is well known for its delicious dining options and is home to El Celler de Can Roca – twice voted best restaurant in the world.

Barcelona by bike

With over 200km of bike lanes, guests will weave their way through the city admiring the highlights of the real Barcelona, learning more about the history behind the different landmarks. To fully immerse in Barcelona’s history guests can stay at Cotton House Hotel, a hidden gem in the heart of the city and former 19th century Cotton Textile Foundation with bags of culture and charm.
