A Delicious Taste of British Summer Al Fresco English Sparkling Wine Tastings Launch at The Coral Room

Ideal for groups of friends or family celebrating something special or simply taking advantage of sunny afternoons in the city, the luxury al fresco tastings in gorgeous surroundings promise not to disappoint. The Coral Garden is accessed via a hidden lift in The Coral Room – London’s hottest new cocktail bar and all-day-dining space. It was designed by Martin Brudnizki and is situated in the 1928 Sir Edwin Lutyens, Grade-II listed building which is home to The Bloomsbury hotel.

The Coral Room offers one of the most extensive English Sparkling Wine menus in the country, championing local English wine producers. During the tasting, guests will learn about and sample six different sparkling wines, handpicked by the bars award-winning Master of Wine, Anne McHale. These include the likes of Bride Valley Brut Reserve 2014 from Dorset, Hush Heath Estate, Balfour Leslie’s Reserve NV from Kent, Ridgeview Wine Estate ‘Bloomsbury’ Cuvée 2014 from East Sussex and Hambledon Vineyard Classic Cuvée Rosé NV from Hampshire. The wine will be perfectly complimented by platters of delicious summer snacks, designed for sharing, including seared tuna with wasabi mayo, lobster mac’n’cheese croquettes and truffle and parmesan fries.

The organised private tastings will last 1.5 hours and those who wish to continue the fun can reserve a table in the beautiful Coral Room, complete with bespoke furniture, palm trees, Murano glass chandeliers and a collection of original pieces of art by British illustrator of the moment Luke Edward Hall.
