SIX SENSES SPA ZIL PASYON, SEYCHELLES NOW OPEN

Six Senses Spa Zil Pasyon is spread over 19,000 square feet (1,765 square metres) of the island’s natural rugged environment, while its facilities occupy 7,000 square feet (650 square meters). The spa accentuates the island’s natural geography through its materiality, texture and form.  It is designed to become an integral part of the island’s eco-system and a symbiotic experience of the surrounding environmental and built features.  For minimal intrusion on the landscape, lightweight timber steps and rope bridges link the different spa villas while fabric shading-sails create areas for rest and relaxation. The spa features an elevated open-air saltwater pool with a sundeck, and yoga and meditation pavilion. A viewing deck has been strategically positioned to offer some of the most spectacular views in The Seychelles, and will also be used to host a variety of wellness classes.   The Spa reception, located on the hill providing excellent views of its surroundings will be home to the latest Six Senses retail collection of natural skincare lines, resort wear, swimsuits, jewellery and accessories as well as manicure and pedicure stations.   Leading on from this point is  circular open-air oasis, leading to female and male changing areas.  From here, guests embark on a breathtaking journey to the treatment villas.   The route takes guests on a winding pathway through and underneath the vast granitic rocks to five double treatment villas, made of refined timber carefully positioned on the oceanfront within the island’s natural features.  Designed-wise these treatment villas reflect the island’s colours, textures and moods.

Spa experiences are designed around the island’s natural health-giving properties and use the natural rock shading and calming sounds of the sea.   There is a wide range of holistic wellness, rejuvenation and locally-inspired treatments together with an extensive menu of signature therapies and the recently launched Six Senses Integrated Wellness. This latest brand initiative allows the in-house wellness expert measure and analyse key physiological biomarkers to provide guests with lifestyle and nutritional advice, and design a personalised programme of spa treatments, fitness and wellness activities.  Six Senses Spa will also feature the group’s popular Six Senses Yogic Program which includes Discover Yoga, Yogic Detox and Yogic Sleep.  The Organic Pharmacy and Terres d’Afrique have been confirmed as product partners, offering a range of result-driven face and body treatments. There will be a fitness centre nearby and group activities such as morning yoga and meditation will be available
