Singita Offers Private Access to Africa's Purest Wilderness

With Rwanda and Tanzania’s borders opening in August and September, look to Singita’s exclusive use villas to book the ultimate private Africa trip. For those who would like to travel by private jet, Singita has also just announced a partnership with ROAR PRIVÉ, delivering an unrivalled experience from take-off to touchdown. This new partnership offers guests access to private terminals, their very own private jet delivering them straight to Singita Kataza House and a dedicated staff complement on arrival. From September 2020, travellers will also be able to twin this trip with a stay at Singita Serengeti House – an exclusive-use villa located within Singita’s 350,000-acre concession in Tanzania. This new itinerary offers exclusive access to the best of East Africa, launching just in time to combine Rwanda’s mountain gorillas with the Serengeti’s iconic wildebeest migration.

EAST AFRICA IN TOTAL PRIVACY
With Singita Serengeti House opening on September 1st, Singita has launched an exclusive 12-night trip combining the villa with Singita Kataza House, offering exclusive access to the best of East Africa. Both villas are completely private and exclusive, with no interaction with external guests and a full staff complement.

Set in the 350,000-acre Grumeti Reserve in Northern Tanzania, Singita Serengeti House includes private access to an untouched wilderness on the annual wildebeest migration route. Designed for exclusive use, Serengeti House caters for discerning travellers seeking privacy and flexibility, with all itineraries, activities and meals tailor-made as guests decide on the day-to-day pace of their trip. The full staff complement ensures that every need is catered for intuitively and includes a private vehicle, Field Guide, chef and host. Each of the four suites feature serene views, spacious en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers and private terraces. Laidback luxury sets the tone in the spacious in and outdoor living areas and features include a modern eat-in kitchen, media room, fitness centre, fire pit, outdoor sala and lap pool. In addition to twice-daily game drives, highlight experiences include: private dinners and cookery classes with the chef, private yoga as well as tailormade no-touch wellness treatments for the seven-nights they will spend at Singita Serengeti House.
From here, guests will take a private charter flight from Singita Sasakwa Airstrip to Kigali International Airport, followed by a helicopter transfer from Kigali International Airport to Singita Volcanoes National Park, arriving at Kataza House for the next five nights. Set right on the edge of Volcanoes National Park, Singita Kataza House puts gorilla-trekking experiences within easy reach and offers an ideal secluded retreat for groups and families.

 

The exclusive-use villa comprises of two spacious suites – a junior master suite and a lavish master suite – as well as a two-bedroom staff residence, wine cellar, fitness centre, cinema, massage treatment room, interactive kitchen for discovering Rwandese cuisine and fire pit. Kataza House offers a full staff complement including a guide, ranger, chef and butler to service every aspect of guests’ stay and ensure total privacy from the main lodge. Here, the stay includes two private gorilla treks as well as a golden monkey trek in Volcanoes National Park, as well as private cooking lessons with expert chefs.
