To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Les Fermes de Marie, Jocelyne Sibuet and family invite guests to experience their very own slice of alpine paradise as they throw open the doors to their exclusive family farmhouse for the first time. Available throughout 2020, guests seeking a unique signature experience can visit La Ferme de Bacré which is set high in the mountains on the Planay plateau with breathtaking views of the Aiguilles Croches peaks and the Megève valley.  A complete retreat, the Bacré feels completely off-grid – just fresh mountain air, the sound of silence and incredible cuisine.

On an hour’s guided walk, guests cross a mountain stream to snowshoe or hike up a mountain path, taking in the scenery – frosted pine trees in winter, flower-filled meadows in the summer – to reach the traditional farmhouse where a feast awaits. In true Sibuet Family style the lodge features cosy Alpine interiors and provides the perfect setting for a charming meal amongst family and friends. A private chef is on hand to cook up whatever guests’ desire, or opt for the Sibuet family classics, such as potato fritters served alongside white Tomme cheese and local cured meats, with blueberry tart for dessert. Ideal for couples, adventurous family groups or meetings and incentives, La Ferme de Bacré is the perfect setting for a memorable Alpine experience.
